Ten minutes, well-spent

I sometimes forget how amazing the late Carl Sagan was as a science educator.  When his PBS series Cosmos first aired in 1980 it created the Gold Standard for communicating science to the general public.

A blog that I like to follow, Bad Astronomy, featured today a segment of Cosmos on the subject of “Living in the Dark” and SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) that is both timely and powerfully moving.
