Clark Planetarium is open 363 days a year. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day only. We close early on Christmas Eve, and have a regular schedule of programs on New Year's Eve and other holidays. Please see movie schedule for details.
Opens at 10:30 AM, 7 days a week;
Closes following the beginning of the last show of the day.
In general, we close Sunday at 6:00 PM, Mon - Wed at 8:00, Thurs at 9:00 PM, Fri & Sat at 11:00 PM. Click here for daily schedule of shows.
Prices for show tickets are as follows:
$8.00 for adults/teens/seniors
$6.00 for children 12 and under
$6.00 matinee tickets for adults for programs beginning before 5 pm, except special engagements.
$6.00 for all 2nd show tickets, for the same person, on the same day.

Special Engagements include, but are not limited to, IMAX films in their first few weeks after opening. Please check the Now Playing information to see if the show you want to see is a special engagement.
Please Note: Clark Planetarium occasionally closes for special and private events, especially in December. Please check our Events for upcoming building closures.

Clark Planetarium is part of The Gateway Mall, located west of the Energy Solutions Arena. Our address is 110 South 400 West in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.

PARKING at the GATEWAY
Convenient underground parking is available at The Gateway.
There is a public entrance to Clark Planetarium from the Summer parking area on both Level 4 (top) and Level 3.
Clark Planetarium will validate parking for our patrons—3 hours for $1.00. Additional parking fees (up to $2 per hour) apply after the first 3 hours. Validations from other Gateway merchants may reduce potential parking fees. Please pay for parking as you leave the parking lot.
There is available free and metered parking on the street, as well as other public pay lots conveniently located nearby.
UTA TRAX/Bus Services
Take TRAX to the new Planetarium Stop, at our front door. TRAX service operates during all planetarium operational hours, including late night on Friday and Saturday. Please see TRAX schedules for details and holiday schedule changes.
